Brownies Anyone?

TJ decided to make some brownies tonight and as a special treat we let Brock lick the spoon. He had brownie mix EVERYWHERE! But, boy did he love it!

Party at Aunt Kindi's & Uncle Danny's

Sunday we went to Aunt Kindi's house for some birthday celebrations. Brock had fun playing with his cousin, Nathaniel, and Doby, Kindi & Danny's dog. Jillian basically did what she does best, sleep. After everyone else left we ordered pizza and played some more! I think Uncle Danny is gearing up for one of his own. Brock is good practice for him!

My Easter Babies

Easter Sunday was about crazy since we went to early service which started at 8:15. We've never been up and ready that early on a Sunday before! After church we all went to IHOP. It was yummy, but I'm sure you can imagine how long we were there with 15 of us and how restless Mr. Brock was getting after about 2 hours. We tried getting some cute shots of them in their Easter attire, but their patience was about shot.

Spring Sing Weekend

We spent Easter weekend in Searcy again this year so we could see Aunt Ashley in Spring Sing. Her show was mimes and they did AWESOME. She was a director this year so she had many hours invested. Her club won several awards and the spirit award. Yea Aunt Ashley!!! I love that top picture with all of her club. It's like Where's Waldo? We thought Brock might be scared of her in her face paint and everything, but he still recognized her and lit up when he saw her. The bottom picture is of Brock and Dustin's girlfriend, Stacy. Brock absolutely loves Stacy. I think Dustin needs to watch out!

Easter Egg Hunt

At Harding Park they held an Easter egg hunt for all the kiddos. We had to borrow Jillian's Easter basket that Aunt Susan had brought for her since we left Brock's at home. He got to get his face painted with a little egg. He looked so cute! Once the hunt started, all the big kids went after the eggs meant for the little kids so Brock was pretty lucky to get as many eggs as he did. He loved it though......about as much as TJ did running after him! (If you're seeing a black screen, just click on the x inside the box and the pictures will come back.)

Are You KIDDING Me???

Well, I should have known it wouldn't be long before Brock needed his crib lowered...well, folks, that day is TODAY! I had him in his crib while I was putting some of his clothes away and left him in there while I went to start a load of laundry. (Yes, I do laundry all the time!) Anyways, I hear this cry and figured he must just want out or he has banged his head on his crib like we've done before. So, I go and check on him....no Brock in the crib. I call to him. Nothing. I start to panic. I don't know why, it's not like he can unlock and open the front door...yet. But, I go into our bedroom, and there he is, drinking a cup of pepsi that TJ had left there the night before making a huge mess on the carpet and all over his clothes. I guess I should be thankful that he was only drinking pop and making a mess with it, rather than playing in the toilet. So much for a nap today. I put him in his crib to see exactly how he got out and here it is. Enjoy.

Check-Up Time

We went to the Dr's yesterday for Brock's 15 month visit and Jillian's 2 month. They did really well, although it was crazy talking to the Dr about one baby when the other one is screaming and trying my best to pay attention to what she was saying. Thankfully Grandma came and helped out! Brock weighed 25lbs which is in the 64 percentile and was 32 in. tall which was in the 83 percentile. So we've got a tall, growing boy! Jillian was 11 pounds and in the 54 percentile and 22 in. long putting her in the 32 percentile. So, she's growing, too! They both had shots and did great! I had read in a Parenting magazine about giving babies sugar water before their shots to help with the pain. I did some online research, too. So, I thought I'd give it a shot. I made my own little concoction of sugar water and put it in a dropper. I gave it to Jillian right before the nurse came in for the shots, so about 5 minutes prior to her shots. Brock got his first and I didn't give him any because I had read on one site that it is effective for babies up to 6 months. He cried of course and was still a little teary eyed while Jillian got hers. But after Jillian got her shots she cried for a very short amount of time. I was amazed. I think next time I'll try it on Brock, too, just to see if it would help him. Amazing what a little sugar will do!

Easter Bunny Time!

We finally got to the mall yesterday to see Mr. Easter Bunny. Brock was fascinated with the whole scene they had going on and even thought the Easter Bunny was pretty neat....up until I tried to put him in the Easter Bunny's lap. Then he wasn't too sure about him! I had to sit there next to him for awhile, but he finally calmed down.

Should've Bet On It!

Well, what do you know? Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day and guess who woke up with a fever yesterday and today? Little Brockers. What is it about holidays that makes Brock decide he needs to get sick? He has a temp, runny nose, and cough. All I can say is that he best not get us sick since we leave Friday for Searcy! I've been washing my hands like crazy! I'm shooting for a sick-free kiddo on Easter! Anyways, I already had Jillian all ready for church looking super cute, as always, and after we had just got done laughing at Brock for letting a little toot, Jillian would not be upstaged. She one ups him by pooping all up her back. Good thing we aren't going to church this morning, we would have been late anyways with having a wardrobe change. I had such plans for today, too! We were going to go see the Easter Bunny and run some errands. Hopefully her dress and cardigan aren't ruined and we can try again later this week. Let's hope tonight we'll be feeling better! This is the face you make when you have poo all up your back and mom has a camera in your face... just in case you were wondering!

Just Like Her Brother

Little Miss Jillian has found her THUMB! She must want to take after her big brother. I guess I'll have to get her a blankie now, too!

The Next Computer Genius

Brock likes to "get on the computer" when I'm trying to get some laundry done. I had pushed in the chair to dissuade him from messing with the computer, and instead he moves the chair and proceeds to hop right up on it and push every single button on the keypad. He can make the mouse work, too, as he was already using Microsoft Word somehow. And now, as I'm sitting here updating his blog, he has managed to empty out my dirty clothes basket and prop himself right inside the basket.

Sweet Big Brother....or maybe NOT!

How sweet did Miss Jillian look today for church?! She's 8 weeks old now and growing like a weed. She's making some cooing noises and even gives us a few smiles now and then. Pretty much though our days are still spent snoozing, eating, and pooping. But we just LOVE our big brother...Isn't he so sweet, giving her a little smooch on the cheek??????? Hmmmmm.....she looks pretty neat from this angle......Oh WOW! This thing stretches!! Let me at that bow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (make sure to notice TJ's hand getting in there a tad late, that baby boy is fast, let me tell ya!)GOT IT! Jillian didn't even know what hit her! I think we are in for some FUN times with the two of them!Poor girl.

Jillian's Shower

A couple of weeks ago the ladies at church threw me a shower for Jillian. She was a doll baby! Here's how she spent the WHOLE shower! Completely passed out!Brock was lucky enough to get a few goodies, too! Moie got him this cute back-pack/harness. He couldn't quite figure out what was behind his head as he kept moving his head back and forth feeling that head of the puppy. It was hilarious watching him run around with that thing on.

Golf Anyone?

My Dad thought it would be funny to put this lovely hat on Brock. He left it on, oh, for about 30 seconds.

Little Blankie Baby

Brock is still my little thumb-sucker. If you could see his thumb right now, you'd be thinking, OH MY GOODNESS, that looks SORE! It is so red and chapped it isn't even funny! He also loves his red Little Giraffe blanket and has to have it around all day. It goes with him everywhere. I can say, Brock, go get your blankie, and he knows exactly what I'm talking about. He looks around and when he finds it he brings it to me and just wants to be a little cuddle-bug. He just rubs on that silky part of the blanket and sucks his thumb. It used to be just when he was tired, but he seems to be doing it a lot more lately.

It's Play Time!

I'm so lucky that little Brockers can entertain himself! He loves emptying out his toy basket, throwing the toys out, not a care as to where they may land, and then playing inside the basket. We had to move this basket away from Jillian's swing because he has such an arm on him they just go flying when he is trying to find just the right toy. As you can see he has a few too many toys! Let me count in this picture how many toys Mommy and Daddy bought for him...ummmmmmm......yeah, that would be NONE.

He even enjoys sitting in the basket when the toys are still INSIDE the basket (which is a rare occasion) !

6 Weeks & 14 Months

Well, I think Brock has managed to get sick and then everyone else sick on every holiday starting back with Thanksgiving. He has been sick on Thanksgiving, his birthday, I think we may have actually been OK on Christmas, but then there was New Year's, and now the latest with Valentine's Day. I'm just waiting to see how he feels on St. Patrick's Day. I had both babies cute little heart day outfits and then we were all laid up in bed that we didn't even make it out of our jammies. So, these pictures of Jillian are of her in her heart day outfit, just a little late. And here is Mr. Brockers looking as sweet and innocent as always.

4 Weeks Old

It's hard to believe Jillian is now 4 weeks old! Time is flying by me so quickly these days!

Mr. Stinker Butt - Part 2

No, folks, this isn't the Wicked Witch of the West's child hit by a flying couch... it's just my little Brockers trying to retreive a toy from under the couch. He was much farther under there, but by the time I ran and got my camera he had already squirmed out a little bit. He did manage to get out by himself, but he was starting to get a little nervous that he was stuck!
And here he is looking out the window like he'd like to escape the indoors, which we've been in ALL week. He has NO FEAR at all, whatsoever. He's climbed up on the chair and is standing on the arm. Dangerous.
