Bunnies, Eggs, and Candy...OH MY!

Just a few more pictures of all the Easter festivities...

Happy Easter 2011!

 A few things you may need to know about this girl...
1) She is NOT a morning person.
2)  She usually has some SERIOUS bedhead.
3)  Don't even mess with her until she's had her morning muffin and milk.

The kids had a GREAT Easter this weekend!
Lots of eggs, baskets, CANDY, CANDY, and more CANDY were involved!

Happy 1st Birthday, Kinley!!!

This weekend my sweet niece, Kinley, turned ONE!!!
TJ's parents hosted the party at their house and after about a week of crummy weather we finally had a beautiful day for a party!  Everything turned out so cute!  Kinley was adorable in her little outfit and was just all smiles pretty much the whole afternoon!  Since her actual birthday fell on Easter, Kindi got the little ones Easter buckets as favors and had an egg hunt for the kids which was a BIG hit!  I helped out with the cupcakes and to see more party details you'll have to check out my other blog!

Happy 1st Birthday, Kinley!!!!
XOXO

Awesome

I love Carrie Underwood.  She's beautiful inside and out and her rendition of How Great Thou Art is so moving.  LOVE IT!

Brunch With the Easter Bunny

 {Hmmmm... What's in there?}

Hopping with the Bunny, he was a good hopper.

{Hmmmm.... should I touch it???}

Some of our sweet church buddies invited us to brunch with the Easter Bunny this morning.  Besides being late because of a confusion on the reservation time (oops!) the kids had so much fun!  Brunch was delicious and while you were eating the Easter Bunny would hop around the restaurant for photo ops and to play with the kids and pass out eggs.  The way I look at it, this brunch had it's pros and cons... Pros being Jillian really had a chance to get up close and personal with the bunny and realized there's nothing to be afraid of and really loved hopping with him and having fun.  Cons being Brock was able to get up close and personal with the bunny and realized, hey, someone's in there!  That's a costume!!!!!  Tonight at home they were both saying, "That was a costume, Mom!"  Soooo... despite realizing, yes, the bunny wears a costume, they still love him and want him to come to our house!  Whew, crisis diverted.

Easter Eggs & Cookies

It wouldn't be Easter without dyeing Easter eggs!
They were so excited!
And if you follow me over on facebook you may know of my little mishap preparing the eggs.  We got home from church, I put them on to boil, and got preoccupied with facebook and totally forgot about them!  TJ went in and looked at them and there was NO water left in the pot!  Oops.  My bad.  Good thing we aren't eating them!
Then we made cookies and had fun decorating them.  They are definitely ready for the Easter Bunny's arrival!!!!!
