Schlittler Family Christmas 2010

I wish I had a video of Dacey squealing with joy over this baby bathtub we got her for Christmas. She was sooooooooooo excited!!! I'm so glad our gift was a hit!

Christmas Eve we went to TJ's parents' house to celebrate with the Schlittler's. The kids were spoiled rotten and got lots of fun new toys and some cute clothes. (The "big" kids were spoiled, too!) It's always fun getting the little cousins together to play.

Christmas Cookies & Another Gingerbread House

To make up for buying the wrong kind of gingerbread house at our party, I bought another house to decorate with the kids. They were such good helpers, but same as last year, they enjoyed sneaking the candies more than decorating with them! Then we also decorated our Christmas cookies for Santa. I gave each of them their own little bowl of frosting and I think they thought it was ice cream the way they were sucking it down!

Gingerbread House Party

{Her face cracks me up!!!}

Recently we invited some friends over from church for a little gingerbread house making party. (It's so nice to have such good church friends!) It was B.Y.O.G.H., Bring Your Own Gingerbread House. *Note to self for next year, make sure the house you buy comes with a little tray to set everything up on, makes life much easier! The kids had such a good time decorating their houses, and then I made some gingerbread girls and boys to decorate so they'd at least have somthing to eat. Hopefully it can become an annual thing!

Go ILLINOIS!!!

A couple weeks ago we got to go to an Illinois basketball game. Ashley's boyfriend, Brandon, was in town and we wanted to treat him to a real fun sporting event, Illini style. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a great time. Our seats were amazing! It's so nice having friends who work in the ticket office. Despite playing the first part of the game with a women's basketball, they pulled out a win!

Jillian's 1st Hair Cut

We took Jillian for her first hair cut last week. It was getting so long and therefore getting lots of tangles and kind of scraggily looking, so she was all about a trim. She did awesome and looks so stinkin' cute. Thanks so much to Cindy for helping us out!!!
