Play It Safe

Are they not just the sweetest little things you ever did see??

Learning about boat safety.

(Jillian doing her "Who Let the Dogs Out" pant.)

This past weekend my mom, sister, and I took the kids to Carle Hospital's Play It Safe Day. The kids got to go around to different stations and learn about different ways to be safe. They learned about pet safety, gun safety, toxic chemicals, boat safety, bike safety, and even got to tour an ambulance. After doing so many stations you could go jump in the bounce house. Aunt Ashley took one for the team as Jillian and Brock were both a little nervous to go in the inflatable caterpillar that ended with a little slide. Kids kept coming out and coming out....and no Ashley! It was hilarious, by the time she ventured out, she was covered in wet grass and her shorts were soaked! Not to mention her little, sweet cheeks were beet red as it was about hot and muggy that day! So, thanks Aunt Ash, we love ya!
