Spring Break

For Spring Break TJ, Brock, and I flew down to Texas to visit all of our Texan friends. Our trip started off with a bang as we missed our flight out of Chicago. We even got a hotel room up in Chicago so we'd be ON TIME, and what do you know??? Our shuttle was late and the line to check in was soooooooooooooo long!!! Luckily the Southwest lady was super nice and re-routed us through Kansas City...yeah, there were only 12 other people on the flight. I guess not too many people want to spring break it to Kansas City. To make a super long story short, Brock did really well on the flights. He did end up with the worst case of diaper rash though considering we couldn't check the diaper rash cream since it wasn't in a 3 oz. container. He was a hurtin'! But we finally made it to DFW and wouldn't you know...our luggage got checked on what was supposed to be an earlier flight to Dallas though somehow we beat it there and had to wait over 30 minutes for our bags. Then on top of that they cancelled our rental car reservation since we were so late and we ended up having to get an SUV and paying an extra $40 some dollars. Can we say "grouchy" by the time we got situated??? But we had the BEST time. My only complaint....it just wasn't long enough!
