Princess Social

Kindi and Dacey invited us to a Princess Social at their church last week.  It was a lot of fun and Jillian and Dacey looked so cute all decked out in their princess outfits.  Jillian had to go with her new Fancy Nancy dress with her sparkly new shoes she got for her birthday.  She was super stylin'!  They got to eat cupcakes, decorate a tiara, get a tattoo (very princess-y), play on the playground, watch a cute Princess Gigi movie, and get their picture taken with Princess Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle.  Thanks for inviting us, Aunt Kindi & Dacey!  We had a blast!

Jillian's Hello Kitty Party

After going back and forth between Barbie and hello kitty, she finally decided on a hello kitty party!  Since she waited until the last minute to decide this party got thrown together super quickly, but I think it turned out sweet and cute.  We kept it simple, with just grandparents and aunts, uncle, and little cousins.  We had tacos for supper and cake for dessert and LOTS of fun presents to open!  To see more pics from her party check out my other blog HERE.

The Birthday Girl

The dreaded claw game...
Brock somehow very luckily won an angry bird out of this machine at his party, so of course he thought it would be a breeze to win another one...
Yea, not so easy this time around.  Pretty sure he spent the majority of his tokens in this machine for nothing!

Legos have become VERY popular at our house!

Wouldn't be a party without a cupcake... or two or three.
(They were little.)

I was able to take a few days off from ciLiving to spend Jillian's birthday with her.  I had BIG plans for her birthday, but then we of course have to have our first SNOW storm that day which just messed everything up.  So, I asked her if she wanted to go to Jupiters and play games or go bowling and she chose Jupiters.  It was nice because we were the only ones downstairs playing games, so we had the whole place to ourselves!  They had a lot of fun playing the games and getting tickets and junky prizes.  Then we went home and she opened her presents.  And after dinner we made ice cream cone cupcakes, which they devoured.  So, overall it was a fun day spent together as a family.
I still can't believe my baby is four.  I tried to get her to stay three for another year but she wasn't having it.  She wants to be big.  *tear*  She is one spunky, fun, smart, playful, cuddle-bug.  She cracks us up all the time with her many facial expressions and quirky sayings and we couldn't love her anymore than we do right now!
Happy Birthday, Jilly Bean!
We LOVE you!

Happy New Year!

We got to ring in the new year at my Aunt Susan's house.  It was a lot of fun getting to celebrate with everyone including my Granny & Granddad.  We stayed up late and played games and even had some sparkling juice to toast in the new year.  I'm thinking going to Kentucky for New Year's could become a new family tradition!

Jillian's Tea Party

 {Ok, Mom... NO more pictures, please!}

Jillian was invited to a fun tea party over the Christmas break... unfortunately I had to work and didn't get to go, but thankfully Aunt Ashley took her for me and took lots of pictures so I could see how cute she was and how much fun she had at her first tea party!  Ashley said she was being all shy at first... what?  Jillian...shy?  That's crazy!  But Ashley said she started opening up and as she got in the car to go home she told her she had the best time.  I just wish I could have gone... maybe next year.

A Merry Roberts Christmas

Awww... the lovely Barbie pool.
"Mama, can we put water in the pool yet?"
I'm pretty sure I heard that like 1,000,000 times...thanks Grandma!
We LOVE that Barbie pool...

So, in keeping with tradition, we tried to get a family shot in front of the tree out at my mom and dad's.  My mom is holding the remote for her camera in her hand to take the picture, even though it really looks like she is trying to pinch TJ's booty.  LOL!  But just scroll down through these pictures so you can see the process of trying to get a good family photo when one little boy isn't feeling it and instead is feeling a tad ornery...

I guess we should have just stopped while we were ahead with those first two pictures!  He's such a stinker!  And now you can see why he thought he should have been on the naughty list.

We had a very busy Christmas weekend, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have it any other way.  I love spending the holidays with our families and we are very, very blessed and my kids are very, very spoiled loved!
