Yeee-Hawww!!!

 That expression is priceless.
  Love it!

 Cheesin' with Cowboy Granddad

So, last week on ciLiving we had Gordyville on to promote their rodeo.  In case you missed it and want to see me rope a hay bale cow... oh wait, I mean see me rope MYSELF, click HERE.  Talk about embarrassing.  But after hearing about the rodeo, I thought it would be a lot of fun for the kids.  So, off we went!  Brock was getting over a little flu bug, but everyone was feeling good so I thought we were safe.  Well, turns out we weren't.  After having some ice cream Jillian started complaining about her tummy hurting and I just assumed it was because she ate too much ice cream.  Well, on our way home, she started throwing up in the car.  Not fun.  I'm going to have to start packing supplies to clean up messes because I pulled into a Burger King parking lot and went in to grab some paper towels, and they had NOTHING.  No paper towels, no napkins, nothing.  It was bad.  Luckily we made it home without any more vomitting, but poor girl, so not fun being sick.  She had such a great time riding the pony, too.  Brock wanted nothing to do with the ponies, he instead wanted a flashing light up sword, which I did not buy.  I'm sure you can guess how well that went over...

Happy Halloween!

It was a gorgeous night for trick or treating in central Illinois and the kids racked up some yummy candy!  Rapunzel & a Pretty Butterfly, aka Dacey & Kinley, got to tag along for the trick or treating fun.  They  had so much fun RUNNING from house to house.  It was a struggle keeping up with them, they were so excited!  And did you see who else joined in on the fun????  Why it's Lucy and Ricky!  Bhahahaha!!!!!

Power Ranger Pumpkin Carving

He thought it was a little stinky!

After picking up a few more pumpkins, we decided it would be fun to do a little pumpkin carving, because seriously, who doesn't remember carving pumpkins as a kid?  TJ thought it would be fun to carve them as Power Rangers so we went with the Red Ranger and the Pink Ranger.  They turned out pretty cute and the kids had a lot of fun scooping out the guts and picking out the seeds!

Fall Fest 2011

My sweet little mermaid and feisty Red Power Ranger

As soon as Jillian put this mermaid costume on, it was as if she transformed into a little diva mermaid.  She was posing up a storm.  It was so funny and stinkin' cute!

And speaking of transforming.... this boy BECAME the Red Power Ranger when he put his costume on!  He loved it!  And the sword totally made his day!

The kids had the best time at our church's annual fall fest this year.  They were all decked out in their costumes and had a blast going from room to room to play all the different games.  I'm thinking I'm going to have more pictures to share of them doing the game rooms once I get the pictures off my mom's camera.

Potato Head Pumpkins

Their pumpkins were having a nice conversation, getting to know one another.

Brock's Preschool Open House

Brock was cracking me up.  He was basically the only one swaying to the song.  I was beginning to think he needed to go to the restroom!

Little Jilly Bean waiting for the program to get started.

He was so excited to show off his classroom!

Jillian was LOVING it, too!
This girl is READY for preschool!

Tonight Brock had his Open House program up at preschool.  We weren't really given a whole lot of information about it prior to tonight, besides to bring some cookies, but then again maybe Brock was supposed to fill us in and didn't.  But anyways, totally should have changed his clothes like I had planned on doing, but then didn't.  He did rock his Illini shirt covered in fire prevention stickers and his lovely jeans with a big old hole in the knee, though!  They sang a few songs and then he got to show us around his classroom.  He did a GREAT job and I was one proud mama... fire prevention tattoo and all.

The Great Pumpkin Patch 2011

 {Taking after her Uncle Dustin...}

I'm so thankful that we were able to continue our annual visit to the Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur this year!  The weather this weekend was absolutely gorgeous and it was a perfect day for picking out a pumpkin.  This pumpkin patch is amazing.  I can't imagine the countless hours that go into making this place ready for visitors.  They seem to mix it up every year and it never disappoints!
