Thanksgiving in Rolla

This year for Thanksgiving we headed over to Rolla to meet up with my Roberts side of the family. It was so great seeing relatives we never get to see! Brock quickly took to Jaclyn and Lauren! They were all big buds. We played lots of Rock Band and dominoes. The food was de-lish and getting to go swim at the Centre where Aunt Linda works was probably Brock and Jillian's favorite part of the trip. I can't wait until we can all get together again!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

We went to visit Santa at the Gordyville craft show last weekend and as you can see, Brock actually LIKED seeing Santa this time! Jillian, still got a bit nervous and wasn't a big fan of the jolly ole' man, so maybe she needs one more year!

Happy Birthday, Sean!

Brock had his first friend birthday party this weekend. It was for his good buddy, Sean. He talked about this Thomas party non-stop from the time we got the invite, up until the party. He was super excited! He had a lot of fun playing at the indoor playground with Sean's friends and he really enjoyed scarfing down that cupcake in mere seconds! Jillian had fun playing, too! They each got goodie bags to take home, and Brock REALLY liked the Thomas stickers! He managed to put them all on his body on the car ride home. It was a fun time!

Happy Halloween!

Trick or Treat?!?!? I think it was all treats at the Schlittler House this year! TJ's parents and Kindi, Danny, and Dacey, the kitty cat, along with my parents all came over to see our little ladybug and Handy Manny. They were all so stinkin' cute! We had some pizza and then headed out to do some trick or treating. It was a little cooler than the trick or treating we did last year in Texas, but it was still fun seeing them run up to the houses and fill their baskets with candy! Now if we could just get this sugar rush to go away as they are running circles around the recliner! Thank goodness it's daylight savings time tonight!!!!

Fall Festival at Church

We went to the Fall Festival at church Friday night. All the kids looked so cute in their costumes! Brock was Handy Manny and Jillian was a little Ladybug. I think Brock's favorite room he visited was the room with the CARS racetrack. Jillian loved the room where she could "paint" a little pumpkin with a bingo dabber. So fun to hang out with our church family!

The Great Pumpkin Patch '09

We thought we best use one of our last warm fall days to head to Arthur to the Great Pumpkin Patch. The kids had the best time pulling those silly wagons. I'm pretty sure that was the highlight of their trip. They each got to pick out one pumpkin, but before I knew it they had our wagon full of pumpkins!
