Thank goodness for the IPhone!

Just had to have a shot of professionally done make-up...

The Groom's Cake

Me and my gorgeous sister

Trying to get these kids dressed and ready to go is always difficult.

Doing a little sight seeing the day of the wedding.

We had to try some beignet's from Cafe du Monde. YUMMM!!!!

On Thursday morning we had a Bridesmaid brunch at the New Orleans School of Cooking. We got to see an authentic New Orleans meal made right in front of us. Everything was great, but the soup was amazing!!!

This weekend we flew down to New Orleans for my brother, Dustin's, wedding. Everything was beautiful. The weather was amazing! It was great to experience a real New Orleans wedding. After the ceremony they had a "Second Line" which is basically a police escorted parade of the wedding party and guests down Bourbon street with a brass band following playing music. It was so cool. Got an eye-full down Bourbon Street, that's for sure! Jillian was so tired she fell asleep during the parade so I at least shielded one of my kid's eyes from all that filth! These are only the shots off of my camera, so hopefully I'll have some more once I see my mom and sister's. So, stay tuned!

Mama's Little Cheerleader

After our visit to Harding and seeing the cheerleaders at the football game, I think I may have a little cheerleader after all! Halloween night she wasn't just a donut, she was a PSU cheerleader. The outfit used to be my sister's! Jillian LOVES it! You should have seen the moves this girl was doing, she put on quite a show!

Happy Birthday, Eden!

Did you know you could have a birthday party at the Children's Orpheum Museum in downtown Champaign?
We had never even been there before, so this was an extra special treat for the kiddos. Our friend, Eden, was celebrating her 6th birthday today and we were lucky enough to be invited and help her celebrate her big day! They got to touch a snake, lizard, and a turtle during the little animal critter show. They LOVED that! Jillian would just give them a quick tap, she wasn't too sure about them. There were so many other things for them to play with and explore. I'm so glad we discovered this place! They had the BEST time!

And what kind of party would it be without pizza, juice boxes, and cupcakes!?! If you want to see the ubber cute cupcakes from the party, made my ME, then click HERE!

Happy Birthday to ME!

Back on the 1st I celebrated the big 3-2 with my sweet kiddos and hubby. I had the most relaxing, uneventful day. It was perfect! For my birthday TJ got me some pretty flowers and a new, professional cupcake blog that's being designed right now and will be up hopefully soon! I can't wait to see it and share it with ya all! We did go out to eat at Red Lobster, YUMMM! And afterwards we went to Custard Cup. I was not about to bake my own cupcakes, so ice cream was A-OK with me!

I ♥ Halloween!!! Part 1

So, we started off our Halloween festivities this year with a trip to the mall. I had heard about it online and thought, I've got to get my money's worth out of this shark costume...Let's GO! Oh. My. It was a mad house!!! We got there just in time for a costume contest for Brock's age division. And what do you know, he made Top 10!!!! (Totally helped make up for what I paid for that costume...and the fact that he LOVES this costume and beams when he has it on!) We had just missed Jillian's age division, but I'm pretty sure she would have won! (Maybe I'm a little prejudice.)
This little donut has her Granddad wrapped around her little pinky finger. She couldn't let any candy just sit in her bag. Oh, no. She had to have it right then and there, and can Granddad say, No?? Nope.

But who can blame him??? Who can seriously resist this sweet little face????
