While we were in Texas we took the kids to their very first Major League Baseball game. The Rangers were playing a make-up game against the A's. We had nice seats up in the upper decks and we were in the shade and thankfully there was a really nice breeze. The last time we went to a game there I remember sweating my behind off so this experience was much nicer! We went with the Iman's and Cori's dad, brother, brother-in-law, and his son, Gavin. Gavin and Brock were good buddies. Unfortunately while we were there, a fan during the 2nd inning, went to catch a ball thrown to him from the Left Fielder and fell 20 feet and ended up passing away in the ambulance. It all happened so fast and when we got home and learned he had died, it just left us all feeling so unsettled. It's just tragic. Life is short and precious. On a lighter note, we did have a celebrity siting... if you can call it that... George W Bush was at the game sitting near the Ranger dugout. :) Over-all it was a fun night hanging out with our friends and eating hot dogs and cotton candy and of course drinking a few Diet Dr. Peppers. (I promise, they have the BEST Diet Dr. Pepper!!!)
