County Fair Time!

We took the kids to the Champaign County Fair this weekend for the demolition derby. I wasn't sure if the kids were going to go for the little kiddie rides, but I think you can see by the look on Brock's face that he was ALL ABOUT the rides! He loved them! It was a little dramatic when the tickets ran out, but nothing a corn dog and lemon shakeup couldn't fix. Jillian wasn't quite as adventurous on the rides, as you can kind of see the little grimace on her face on the dragon roller coaster. She had fun, though! The demo derby was awesome and very, very loud. The very last feature was by far the loudest, and even with ear plugs, Jillian wasn't a fan of the noise. You couldn't even hear her scream and cry due to the loudness. She was so not happy. We got our funnel cake before we left and it was the perfect sweet ending to our fun evening!
