Christmas with the Schlittler's

Dacey got a new baby doll for Christmas.
I think she loves her! She gave her big smooches!

We celebrated Christmas with TJ's parents and Kindi, Danny, and Dacey on Christmas Eve. After eating lunch we dug into the presents! The kids are so blessed with such loving grandparents and aunts and uncles!

Christmas Photo Shoot

This is about how well our photo shoots go these days, which is why I am not brave enough to take them somewhere professionally! Probably end up being about a big waste of time and money! Plus, these are the kind of shots you get when Granddad is over on the side with a big blowup snowman. That's not distracting...

Christmas Cookies for Santa

We had to make some cookies for Santa! But of course, wouldn't you know it, we forgot to put them out since we got home so late Christmas Eve!

Happy Birthday, Little Man!

Tonight we finally got to celebrate my little guy's 3rd birthday! I still can't believe he's three years old, man, where does the time go??? He had quite the eventful actual birthday. TJ was super sick, so we ended up having to take him into convenient care. I don't think Brock felt the best either, but he's not one to really show when he's not feeling well. So, after getting McDonald's for a quick birthday supper, Jillian spilled all her orange drink on her coat in the car, so I just threw it in the washer as soon as we got home. Next thing I know, my washer is making a grinding noise. Nice. No spin cycle and a soapy coat is just icing on the cake! Luckily we have a really nice neighbor who helped me out! Anyways, we had such plans, which included going to Chuck E. Cheese, and I still plan on taking him, but who knows when! So, then his party which was scheduled for Sunday got postponed due to illness, so we finally celebrated tonight! It was so fun, he loved all the Thomas stuff! He got lots of nice gifts and was super thankful, for most everything...unless it was an article of clothing. We had cake, cupcakes, and ice cream and delicious cookies. You'll have to check out my Pirates & Princesses blog for more party pics!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BROCKERS!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Jolly Ol' St. Jillian

I think this is her "rap pose."

These are for Aunt Susan who passed this cute little holiday outfit down to us from Lily. So cute, thanks Aunt Susan!!! Love you!

Gingerbread House

I'm pretty sure this is her, "Mom, I'm trying to decorate this gingerbread house. Can't you see that???" face.

I think she spent more time licking her fingers than decorating, as you can see by who's side of the gingerbread house has more decorations!

I think we've found a new holiday tradition!! I bought the kids a gingerbread house this weekend to decorate and they LOVED it! They were so excited they couldn't keep their grubby little paws off of it for me to even get a good "before" picture. As soon as I took this last shot of their finished house, they immediately started peeling candy off right and left and shoving it in their mouth. Good times! I LOVE CHRISTMAS TIME!

Chillin' With the Babies

I peeked in on the kids while they were watching Dora, and there they sat, both holding their babies.

So Stinkin' CUTE

I had to snap a few photos of the kids after church and before TJ's family birthday party. I know I'm biased, but they are just the cutest little doll babies and I couldn't love them anymore if I tried!

It's Beginning to Look...

A lot like Christmas!!!! We got out all the Christmas decorations tonight! It went a lot better this year than last year. They were very helpful! It was so fun getting decorations put up, listening to Christmas tunes, watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and seeing how excited the kids were to help out! It's going to be a great Christmas in our new home!

You can't really tell it, but she was just looking at her reflection in the ornament. It was too cute!

He was doing some SERIOUS concentrating!

They were too busy either climbing under the tree or touching all the ornaments to want to sit still and take a picture in front of our finished product!
